Sri Baba Metal

You can find Sri Baba Metal at No:5, Shanthi Nagar, on the 1st Cross Street in Adambakkam. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, which is nice for us. We deal in metal, obviously, and we’ve been in this specific spot for a while now. The workshop is where we spend our hours, surrounded by various types of metal pieces and the tools we use to work them. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s a workshop, so that’s how it goes. People from around Adambakkam stop by when they need something specific, maybe for a home repair or a small project they’re working on. We don’t do big fancy advertisements. We just keep the doors open and do the work as it comes in. Sometimes we’re busy with a lot of small orders, and other days it’s one big job that takes up all our space. We try to be careful with our measurements because metal isn't easy to fix if you cut it wrong. It’s just us here, doing the daily grind. We know the neighbors and they know where to find us if they need a piece of metal cut or joined. It’s a simple business, really, and we like it that way. We just keep things moving every day as best as we can. The tea stall nearby is where we take our breaks.
