Our place is located at No 36-G on North Parade Road, which is right near the Jothi Theatre. If you know St Thomas Mount, you know it can get pretty crowded around here on the weekends. We’ve been running Sreyas Cargo Pvt Ltd from this office for a good bit now. Most days it’s just the sound of the fans humming and the guys moving crates around in the back room. It’s a physical job, no doubt about that. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking the computer for where things are currently sitting. The theatre nearby always has something going on, so there’s a lot of noise and people walking by our front door all day. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us handling the cargo that comes through our doors. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or the traffic on the main road, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It’s not a polished environment, just a working office with old chairs and stacks of manifests. We know the area well and most of the people around here know us too. It’s about getting the cargo where it’s supposed to go without a lot of fuss. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the doors open and keep working. It’s a simple setup, and that’s how we like it. Just a regular business doing regular work every day.
