Sree Impex

Sree Impex is located at 42 Acharappan Street in Flower Bazar. If you know Chennai, you know how tight and busy the streets in Flower Bazar are. It’s a constant maze of people, carts, and two-wheelers. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. The space we have is mostly used for storing goods and handling paperwork for imports and exports. The building is quite old, like most things in this part of town. High ceilings and heavy doors are common here. It gets very humid, and we usually have a couple of big fans blowing all day long. Different items come through here depending on the season and what people are asking for. The street outside stays noisy with people shouting and constant horns honking. You have to be quick when unloading a truck or you’ll block the whole road and get everyone angry. Having been here for a long time, we know the other traders on the street pretty well. Everyone helps each other out with small things when needed. The office is just a desk tucked between stacks of boxes. There is no showroom here. People come to us because they know we’ve been around and understand how the business works. It’s a tough place to work because of the heat and the crowds, but there’s an energy you don't find elsewhere. We just do our business and try to stay out of the way.
