SPINKS INDIA

Spinks India is located out at Plot 160 in the Sidco Industrial Estate. It is near Thirumazhisai, so the commute can be a bit of a stretch for some of the guys coming from the city. The industrial estate is a big place and it is easy to get lost if you do not know the local landmarks. We spend our days working on the machines and handling the orders that come in through the main gate. The workshop floor is always a bit noisy, and you can usually smell the oil and metal in the air when you walk in. We have a small team here, and most of us have been around long enough to know the quirks of the building. The break room is just a corner with a table and a few plastic chairs where we eat our lunch together. We do not have any big signs or bright lights outside, just the name on the door so people know where to stop. Thirumazhisai has grown a lot lately, so there are more trucks on the road than there used to be. It makes the mornings a bit slower when we are waiting for supplies to arrive. We do not really do fancy meetings or anything like that. We just look at what needs to be done for the day and we do it. It is practical work and it keeps everyone occupied. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, but we mostly head home early.
