Southern Steels & Forgings

Southern Steels & Forgings is located on the first floor at 121 Linghi Chetty Street. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and narrow the streets can be. It is an old building, and the stairs are a bit steep and worn down. We have been here for a long time, right in the heart of the hardware and steel trading district. Our office is full of old ledgers and samples of steel. It is not a modern workspace at all. There are fans humming on the ceiling and stacks of papers on every surface. We deal with a lot of different steel products and forging requirements. Most of our day is spent talking to traders and customers who come by. Linghi Chetty Street is always full of people and carts moving goods. It is a very traditional way of doing business. We do not have a big corporate structure. It is just a few of us handling the orders and making sure the deliveries are on track. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear on the phone. We have gotten used to the pace here. It is a practical, no-nonsense environment. We do not do any fancy promotions or anything like that. We just stay at 121 and handle the steel business as it comes in. The windows are old and dusty, but we like the view of the street.
