Sonia Computer

Sonia Computer is tucked away in the Hawwa Complex, room 403. Mannady Street is always buzzing with people and traffic, so it’s a lively place to be. We’ve been here for quite some time now, mostly fixing up computers and laptops that have seen better days. It isn’t a large office, just a simple room with a couple of workbenches and shelves full of old monitors and spare parts. You might see some dust or a few tangled cables, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy with repairs all day. Most of our regulars are folks from the neighborhood who just drop in when their screen cracks or the hard drive starts making noise. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or coffee machines. Usually, someone is just hunched over a motherboard with a soldering iron. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. We’ve learned over the years that most problems have a simple fix if you take the time to look. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a reliable spot where you can get your machine looked at without a lot of fuss. Sometimes parts take a while to arrive, and we have to tell people to wait, which we don't like doing, but that's just how the business goes. We keep it honest and just do the work as it comes in.
