Sm Foods

We operate out of No : 37/1 on Telugu Chetty Street, which is right in the heart of Washermanpet. If you know this part of Chennai, you know how narrow the streets can be and how much life is packed into every corner. Sm Foods is just a small place tucked away among the other shops and houses. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, and we like being part of the local scene here. The street is usually full of bikes and people carrying goods, so it’s always lively. Our workspace isn't huge, but we make the most of it to get our food products ready. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big sales team. It’s usually just us handling the orders as they come in. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit of a struggle because of the traffic on Telugu Chetty Street, but we’ve figured out the best times to move things. People in the area know us by sight, and we often stop to talk to the other shopkeepers while we’re out. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We don't worry about being the biggest; we just want to make sure the work we do today is as good as what we did yesterday. That is really all there is to it.
