Sankari International

You can find us down in Mannadi on Koral Merchant Street. It’s a very old part of the city and it’s always crowded with people and goods. Sankari International has been at Door No. 84/163 for many years now. The streets here are narrow, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a challenge, but we’re used to it. We deal with international trade, which means a lot of coordination with ports and customs. It’s not as glamorous as it sounds. Mostly it’s just a lot of typing, calling people, and checking crates. Our office is small and filled with files and samples. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. We just focus on the movement of goods. Mannadi has a certain energy that keeps you on your toes. There are always people shouting and carts moving around outside our door. We’ve built up a lot of local contacts over the years. We aren't looking to expand into some big corporate tower; we like it here in the thick of things. It’s a family-run kind of feel even though we handle stuff from all over. Most days are long and we drink a lot of tea to keep going. We just do our best to make sure the shipments arrive when they are supposed to. It’s honest work and we've been doing it a long time.
