You can find us up on the 5th floor of the NPL Devi building on L B Road. Thiruvanmiyur is always moving, and being up here gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy to look out the window much. The elevator in this building has its moods, so sometimes we just take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. It’s a decent climb. Our office at No.111 is mostly full of desks and a few cabinets that don’t quite close right. We’ve been here for a bit now and it feels like home. There is always a pot of coffee going, and someone is usually complaining about the traffic on L B Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, that’s for sure. We don’t have fancy furniture or any of those modern office pods. It’s just a place where we sit down and get things sorted. People come and go throughout the day, mostly staff heading out to different sites or coming back with updates. We have a small area near the window where we keep some plants, but half of them are struggling because we forget to water them. It’s a real office with real people. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just where we work. We try to keep the noise down, but it’s hard with everyone talking at once.
