If you go to Abiramapuram, you’ll find us at 13 and 14/1A in the Dev Apartments on St. Mary's Road. It’s a bit different because we are a veterinary hospital. Instead of people, we spend our days with dogs, cats, and the occasional bird. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easier to bring the bigger animals in. Sometimes it gets pretty noisy with all the barking and meowing. It’s never a dull moment here. We have a small team that really cares about the animals. We see a lot of the same pets as they grow up. The neighborhood has a lot of animal lovers. We keep a stock of medicines and some pet supplies in the corner. The waiting room isn’t huge, so things can get a bit cramped when three big dogs show up at once. We do our best to keep them calm. It’s a messy job sometimes, but someone has to do it. We deal with everything from basic shots to more complicated stuff. The morning hours are usually the craziest. We try to stick to a schedule, but animals don't always cooperate with our plans. If there’s an emergency, everything else waits. That’s just the way it works with pets. We’ve been here in the apartments for quite some time. It’s a familiar spot for local pet owners. We just keep the doors open and the water bowls full.
