Sivaraman

Living and working in Chennai means you get used to the heat and the constant sound of horns. Sivaraman is located right in the thick of it. Our place doesn't have a big sign or anything flashy. It's just where we gather every morning to get through the list of things that need doing. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. We keep a few potted plants by the window, though they don't always get enough water when things get busy. Most of our time is spent dealing with local folks and figuring out schedules that never quite go as planned. It’s the kind of place where you might find a stray cat hanging around the doorstep looking for a snack. We don't really do the corporate thing with long meetings or fancy presentations. Usually, it’s just a couple of us sitting around a wooden table, drinking tea and talking about what needs to happen next. The afternoons can get pretty quiet when the sun is at its highest, but then things pick up again in the evening. We know the local shops and the people who run them, which makes it feel like we belong here. Chennai is a big city, but our little corner feels familiar and steady. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else in this neighborhood.
