Siva Peruman Fabrication

T.H. Road is always loud, and being here in New Washermenpet means there is never really a quiet moment for us. Siva Peruman Fabrication has been tucked away here for quite some time now. You can usually find us surrounded by piles of metal rods and sheets that need cutting or joining. It gets hot inside, especially when the afternoon sun hits the front of the shop, but that is just part of the daily routine. We don't have a fancy office or any air conditioning, just the sound of the grinders and the smell of hot iron. People from around the neighborhood stop by often, sometimes just to ask if we can fix a small hinge or weld a gate back together. We keep the floor as clear as we can, but with so many projects going on at once, there is always some scrap lying around. It is a busy life here. The traffic on the road outside never seems to stop, and neither do we until the sun goes down and we lock up the shutters. Most of our days are spent wearing heavy gloves and squinting through welding masks. It is hard work, and our clothes usually end up covered in dust and grease by noon. We just take the jobs as they come, whether they are big frames or small repairs for someone's house. It is just a normal shop doing normal work for whoever needs it done.
