Shri Yogam Blue Metals

Shri Yogam Blue Metals is located at 84, Sakthi Street in Pallavaram. We are mostly involved with blue metals, which basically means the crushed stone and grit used for building things. Our yard is usually full of piles of different sizes of stone, and there is almost always a truck either loading or unloading somewhere on the property. Sakthi Street is a busy place, and we are right there in the middle of it. The air is often a bit dusty because of the stones being moved around, so we usually wear scarves or masks when it gets windy. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We spend a lot of time talking to truck drivers and checking the weights of the loads. There isn't much of an office, just a small cabin where we keep the receipts and the phone. We don't do any big advertising; people in the construction trade just know where we are. It’s a loud place with the sound of stones clattering and engines idling. We start early in the morning and stay until the last delivery is sorted out. Sometimes the rain slows us down and turns everything into a muddy mess, but we just wait it out and get back to it. We are just a local crew providing materials for the neighborhood's building projects, and we like keeping it simple like that without any fuss.
