Our office is on the ground floor of The Legend building, number 177/2 on Poonamallee High Road in Kilpauk. It’s a very busy part of the city, and the traffic outside is almost constant. Shri Veerganapathi Steels Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for quite a while. We aren't a retail shop where you just walk in and pick up a small piece of metal; it’s more of a place where we manage larger orders and handle the paperwork for the steel trade. The office has a few desks and some old filing cabinets, and we spend most of our time coordinating with the yards and the transport companies. It is a bit more formal than a roadside shop, but we still keep things pretty low-key. We don't have any flashy displays or sales pitches. People who come to see us are usually regulars who have been buying steel from us for years for their building projects. The windows look out onto the main road, and you can hear the buses and cars all day long. We try to keep things organized, but when big shipments are moving, it can get a bit hectic with all the phone calls and documents. We just focus on getting the steel where it needs to go and making sure the counts are right. It’s a solid, everyday business with a small team that knows the trade.
