You can find Shri Balaji Metals & Steel over in Red Hills, specifically at No. 2/496 on the Thiruvallur High Road. We are based out of Padianallur, which is a busy spot with plenty of trucks moving through all the time. Our yard is filled with metal and steel, so it’s a lot of clanging and heavy machinery sounds throughout the day. It’s not the kind of place you’d go if you wanted a quiet afternoon. The sun beats down on the steel, making the whole area feel a bit warmer than the rest of the street, but we’re used to it. We spend most of our time organizing the stacks and helping load up whatever needs to be moved out. The office is just a small room at the front where we keep the records and handle the money. It’s basic, with a few chairs and a fan that works most of the time. We don’t use any big words or try to act like we’re a huge corporation. We’re just a local business on the high road trying to keep things organized. There’s always a bit of grease and rust around, which is expected when you work with these materials. We’ve been in this part of Padianallur for quite some time now, and we know the neighborhood and the other shop owners pretty well. It’s a decent place to work.
