Shree Hanuman Metals

We run Shree Hanuman Metals out of our shop at No 21/15 on Mogappair Road in Padi. It is a straightforward business where we deal with different kinds of metals every day. The location in Padi is quite busy, and being right on Mogappair Road means there is a lot of traffic passing by our front door. Our workspace is mostly filled with stacks of metal and the tools we use to handle it. It is physical work and we often end the day with dirty hands, but that is just how it goes in this trade. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a practical place for storing and moving metal. We start our mornings by organizing the inventory and seeing what needs to be moved out. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for specific pieces for their own projects or small businesses. We have stayed in this same spot for years because people in the neighborhood know us and know where to find us. It is not a complicated operation. We just focus on the metal and making sure we have what people are asking for. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when a big delivery comes in, but we manage to keep things moving. We do not spend much time on computers; we prefer just talking to the customers and getting the work done manually. It is a quiet, steady life here in Padi.
