Our office for Shin Khai Construction India Privatelimited is right on Sterling Road in Nungambakkam. We are at No.111, which is a pretty central spot in this part of Chennai. It’s a busy road, so there is always a lot of movement and noise outside our doors. The office itself is practical. We have some desks and a meeting table where we go over our construction plans and schedules. It’s not a very big space, and it can feel a bit cramped when the whole team is in at once, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different people on the ground, so there is always a lot of talking and phone calls going on throughout the day. We don't really have time for fancy corporate stuff or long meetings that don't go anywhere. We just focus on what needs to be done for the day and try to stay on top of our list. Sometimes the traffic on Sterling Road makes it hard to get in and out quickly, but that is just life in Nungambakkam. We’ve been here for a while and we know the local area quite well. If you come by, you’ll likely find us buried in some paperwork or looking at a site map. It’s a simple way of running a business, and it seems to suit us just fine. We usually grab lunch at one of the small shops nearby and get back to it.
