Sharathy Industries

Sharathy Industries is located at Door No. 44 in the Gk Industrial Estate. We are in Ganesh Nager, which is part of the Aalapakkam area down by Porur. It is a bit of a drive if you are coming from the main part of the city, but it is a good location for the kind of work we do. The industrial estate has a lot of different small businesses, so there is always some kind of noise or activity going on nearby. We have got a decent amount of space in our particular unit, although it seems to fill up very fast whenever a new shipment arrives. The floors are just plain concrete and they have definitely seen better days, but they are strong enough for the heavy stuff we move around. Typically, our day starts with a quick look at what needs to be packed or loaded onto the trucks. It is a lot of physical work and we all have to pitch in to get it done. The tea stall at the entrance of the estate is where we usually take our small breaks. It is a nice spot to catch up on the local gossip or see what is happening with the other business owners in the area. Porur has changed a lot lately with all the new apartments going up, but our corner of the estate feels pretty much the same as it always has. We don’t bother with fancy furniture or decorations. We just have the tools and space we need.
