You can find Seaport Services over on Thambu Chetty Street, right on the 3rd floor of the building numbered 166/336. We are pretty close to the High Court, so the whole area is always packed with people in black robes and folks running around with folders. Parrys is a busy part of town, and it can be a real headache to find a place to park most days. Our stairs are a bit steep, so we usually take the lift if it’s working right. The office itself is simple enough. We have some wooden chairs that have seen better days and a lot of registers stacked up on the shelves. It’s mostly just us handling the daily paperwork and answering calls that come in from the port. The tea seller downstairs knows exactly how we like our drinks, which is a nice little part of the morning. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People come in and out all day, mostly just local drivers or other clerks from the neighborhood. We don’t really do much besides the work that’s right in front of us. It’s been this way for a long time. The street outside stays noisy until late, but once you’re inside the office, you just get used to the hum of the city while you tick things off your list.
