If you head down to Kamakshi Colony in the Sanitorium area, you’ll find us on Sharmila Street. The address is 8/11, and it’s a place we’ve called home for Sathyam Homes Pvt. Ltd. for a while now. It’s not a flashy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular building where we sit and figure out housing stuff for the local people. The street is usually a bit calmer than the main roads, which makes it easier to actually get some work done without too many distractions. Most of the folks who come in are from the nearby colonies or people looking to move into this part of town. We handle a lot of the local paperwork that comes with buying or selling homes. It’s often just us sitting around the table going over floor plans or checking on site progress with our staff. We’ve grown to know the layout of the Sanitorium area pretty well over the years. Every morning, we open up, have some tea, and start looking through the messages we missed. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when multiple projects are happening at once, but we manage somehow. We don't use any fancy systems, just our notebooks and some old folders. It’s a practical way of working that has served us just fine. People know they can just walk in and ask questions about the neighborhood. We might be busy, but we always find a minute to talk.
