Saravana Casting Works

Our shop is located at 66/6 on Gangai Amman Koil Street. It’s right there on the Kathievedu Puzhal Redhills Road. Saravana Casting Works has been around this part of town for a good bit of time. It’s a noisy place with the machines running most of the day, but that is just how casting works go. We don't have a fancy showroom. The floor is usually covered in dust and there is a lot of metal lying around. We just focus on the jobs people bring us. Some days it is really hot inside, especially during the summer, but we keep the fans going and get through it. People from the neighborhood know where we are because of the sign near the temple. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the city. We just want to do the work and make sure it’s done okay. You can hear the traffic from Redhills Road all day long. It gets pretty busy out there. Sometimes deliveries take a bit longer when the road is blocked. We have a small crew here. Most of us have been working together for years. We know the machines and we know how to handle the materials. It is just a regular local business. Nothing more than that. We open early in the morning and stay until the last job is wrapped up for the day.
