SANTHYA CONSTRUCTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED

We are based in Egmore, which is always moving. Our office is in the Cision Complex on Montieth Road. It’s an old part of Chennai with a lot of character. We do all sorts of construction projects around here. If you know Montieth Road, you know it can get pretty crowded during the day. We’ve been in this complex for some time now. Our space is on the second floor, tucked away. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of building in a crowded city like this. Getting trucks in and out of tight streets is a constant puzzle. We don’t really do the whole corporate image thing. Our clothes usually have a bit of dust on them and our desks are covered in papers. It’s just how it is when you’re actually doing the work. We handle the paperwork and the site management ourselves. Some days it feels like we are just solving one problem after another, but that’s construction for you. We’ve got a small crew that we trust. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just look at the plans and see what can be done. Being in Egmore means we are central, which helps when we have to go to the different government offices for permits. It’s a busy life, but we’re used to it by now.
