Sanathana Samrakshana Foundation is located at No.12, Nagarathnam Colony. We are situated within the Sir PS Sivasamy Colony in Mylapore. Mylapore is one of those old parts of Chennai where tradition is everywhere you look. Being at this address means we are surrounded by old temples and narrow streets. Our foundation is a small operation. We don’t have a massive glass building; instead, we work out of this colony house which feels more like a home than a workplace. Most of our day is spent on the various projects we handle. It involves a lot of talking to people and organizing different activities. The 600004 area is usually bustling with activity, especially in the mornings with people going to the temple or the local shops. The streets can be a bit tight, and parking is always a challenge for anyone visiting us. We have our books and our records piled up on the shelves. It’s a quiet life inside the office compared to the noise of the city outside. We’ve been part of the Mylapore community from this Nagarathnam Colony spot for some time. We aren’t looking to be some huge institution. We just want to do our work from this corner of Chennai. It’s a simple setup, but it’s exactly where we need to be. There's nothing polished about it, just us in a regular house in a regular colony doing what we can.
