Madras Impex

Madras Impex is based at No. 10 Gandhi Main Road in Keelkattalai. Being on the main road means we see a lot of traffic and people passing by all day. Our office is a straightforward space where we handle all our import and export business. We have a front desk area for visitors and a larger space in the back where we do most of the heavy lifting. There are always boxes and packing materials lying around because we are constantly preparing shipments. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics like computers, printers, and a solid internet connection. Our team is small and we’ve all worked together for a long time, so we have a good routine down. We usually take our lunch together in the back room, which is a bit tight but it works for us. The afternoon is usually the busiest time when we are checking on the status of various orders. Sometimes there are delays at the port or with the trucks, and we have to spend a lot of time sorting those issues out. We aren't trying to be anything we're not; we just provide a straightforward service and work hard at it. The building is older but it’s sturdy and has served us well since we moved in. We've got our own way of doing things and we don't feel the need to make everything look fancy just for the sake of it.
