Samy Steels

Samy Steels is located out on Raghavendra Nagar Pudhupettai, right on the Natraj Mills Main Road. It is a noisy area because of the mills and all the trucks moving heavy loads back and forth. We deal with steel, so there is always the sound of metal clanging and the smell of iron in the air. Our workshop and storage area is always a bit of a mess with offcuts and supplies, but we know where everything is. The Natraj Mills road is always busy, and sometimes the traffic makes it hard for our deliveries to get out on time, but we manage. We have a small crew of guys who aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty or lifting heavy beams all day. It’s tough on the back, but it’s the work we’ve always done. We started this place because we saw a need for steel in this part of town, and we’ve stayed because the people here are good to work with. There isn't anything fancy about our office, just a wooden table and a few chairs for when customers come in to discuss their plans. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone; we just show them what we have and tell them the price. It’s a practical business for a practical part of the city. Usually, the phone rings quite a bit with people asking about rebar or sheets, and we just answer as best as we can while the machines are running.
