Sakthivel Computer Center

We've been here on Railway Station Road for quite a while now. It's a busy spot in St Thomas Mount, right near Parangi Malai. Most people just walk in after getting off the train. We have several computers set up and we help folks with typing or looking things up online. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. It's not a fancy place, just a few desks and chairs where you can get your work done. We see students coming in to finish their assignments and older people needing help with some government forms. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it. We keep things simple here. If someone needs a printout or wants to learn the basics of using a mouse, we're around. The shop is small and can get a bit crowded in the evenings. We try to keep the fans running to stay cool. People know us as the local spot near the station. It's just a regular daily business where we fix what we can and help people navigate the digital stuff they find tricky. We don't have much of a sign, but everyone around Parangi Malai knows where the stairs are. It's just us, doing what we do every day. There is always some dust from the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the monitors.
