Sakthi Housing (Chennai) Pvt. Ltd.

Our office for Sakthi Housing (Chennai) Pvt. Ltd. is on Karnam Street, right off the Velachery Main Road. It’s Plot No. 3, and the building is called 'Sakthivel'. If you know Chennai, you know how the traffic can get on the main road, especially during the mornings when everyone is heading to work. We are tucked slightly away from that main noise, but you can still hear the horns honking in the distance. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some plastic chairs for guests and a couple of old cupboards where we keep all the files. Chennai heat is something else, so we keep the windows shut mostly. It gets dusty pretty fast with all the construction and vehicles nearby. I usually spend my time looking through site maps or talking to people on the phone. Someone is always coming in to ask about prices in the area. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If I'm here, I answer the door. If I'm out at a site, the door stays locked for a bit. It’s just how we run things. Most of the people who come by are from the neighborhood or have heard about us from a friend. We've been in this spot for a good bit of time now. The tea stall around the corner is where I usually get my afternoon drink. It’s a busy life but we like being here on Karnam Street. It is home for the business.
