Sairam Traders

Sairam Traders is sitting right on Kailasanathar Kovil Street, at number 119 in Padi. It is a street that has a lot of history because of the temple, and we are right in the thick of it. Being a trader means our day is mostly spent on the phone or talking to people who stop by the shop. We deal with various items, mostly things that local contractors or builders might need. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to keep as much stock as we can on the shelves. It’s not the kind of place where everything is polished and shiny. There is dust on the boxes and the floor is a bit worn down from people coming in and out. But that’s how a real trading business looks. We have been in Padi for some time now, and we know most of the people on this street. It’s a good community. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a list of what’s in stock and what’s coming in next week. If we have it, we sell it to you. If we don’t, we tell you when it might show up. It is all very basic and honest. We don't spend money on big ads. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer to walk through the door. It's just a regular shop doing business. We take things one day at a time.
