Our place is at 27, South Phase in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. We’re right across from the Icici Bank, so we’re pretty easy to spot if you’re driving in. We’ve been here at Sai Balaaji Refractories Pvt Ltd for a long time now. The estate is always buzzing with activity, and there’s always someone moving something on a trolley or a truck. We handle refractory materials, mostly for industrial furnaces and that sort of thing. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and getting your hands dirty with the dust and the heat. We don't have a fancy showroom because our customers already know what they are looking for. They just need stuff that works and holds up. The office is a bit cluttered with papers and samples, but we know where everything is. We have a small team, and most of us have grown up around this kind of work. We aren't interested in being a big name with a flashy logo or a polished image. We just want to make sure the people who buy from us get what they need without any fuss. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to sit around and wait, but usually, we are busy from morning till evening. It’s a good community here in Ambattur. We know the other shop owners and we help each other out when we can. It’s just a normal, everyday business trying to stay steady.
