Our place is tucked away on Ethiraj Swamy Street in Erukkancery. It’s number 7/5 if you’re looking for the gate. We handle steel, mostly bars and sheets that people need for house construction or small workshop jobs. It’s a family-run kind of setup. My brother and I are usually here from early morning. The street can get a bit crowded with deliveries, so we try to get things loaded up quickly. We aren't big on fancy talk or slick sales pitches. You come in, tell us what dimensions you need, and we see if we have it in the yard. Sometimes we have to order things in if it's a weird size, but usually, we keep the basics on hand. It's noisy work, cutting and moving steel all day. Erukkancery is a solid area for this kind of business. We’ve known most of our neighbors for years. Sometimes people just drop in for a chat or to ask about prices for a future project they’re thinking about. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop. We just focus on getting the right pieces to the right people without a lot of fuss. If the truck is working, we can sometimes help with dropping stuff off nearby, but mostly folks just bring their own transport. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We just do what we can to help the local builders get their supplies.
