S S Traders is over at No 54 on Canal Bank Road in Cit Nagar. If you know the Nandanam area, you know it can get pretty hectic during the rush hours. We are right by the canal, which is a familiar landmark for everyone around here. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we store our goods and talk to our customers. We do a lot of trading, mostly handling whatever stock is in demand at the moment. The daily routine is pretty much the same—sorting through deliveries and making sure the orders are ready for the people who stop by. It’s a bit of a tight space sometimes, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to find room for everything on the shelves. Canal Bank Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. We don't spend much on decorating the place because we’re usually too busy moving boxes or checking the accounts. It’s honest work and keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult given our location near the canal, but we manage to keep the stock dry and the business running. It’s just us here, making sure we stay on top of the trading business day in and day out. We like being in Nandanam; it feels like the center of things for us. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall nearby while we wait for the next delivery truck to show up.
