Our place is on Thukaram Third Street in T.Nagar. It’s number 3, and you’ll usually find Ravi Kumar or me at the desks. T.Nagar is always chaotic, but our little corner is somewhat quieter than the main roads. The office is basically just a couple of rooms filled with paper and books. We’ve been doing this for a long time, mostly focused on tax audits and company filings. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just show up, open the shutters, and start going through the files. There are always piles of documents that need to be sorted and entered into the system. Sometimes the computer system for the tax department crashes, and we just have to sit and wait, maybe have another cup of coffee. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We know most of our clients by their first names. They come in with their bags of receipts and we sit down to make sense of it all. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary for everyone. The furniture is a bit worn out, and the lights could be brighter, but it serves the purpose. We don’t use any polished marketing talk because we don’t need it. We just do the accounting work and try to stay on top of the changing rules. If you need to find us, look for the sign near the entrance of the building.
