S G S Earthmovers

We've been running S G S Earthmovers from here on Medavalkkam 2nd Street for a while now. Most people around Kilpakkam Post know where we are. It’s a busy spot. We mostly handle earthmoving jobs, nothing fancy, just the regular stuff that needs doing with heavy machinery. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is quiet. That’s just how this kind of work goes. My uncle started things and now we just keep it going day by day. We have the machines parked near the 71 P address. It gets dusty, but that is part of the job. If you walk down the street, you will see us. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk and the equipment outside. People stop by to ask about rates or if we are free for a job next week. We try to be fair. It's not always easy keeping the machines in good shape with all the dirt, but we manage. We know the roads around here well. If someone needs a hole dug or some land cleared, they usually find us through word of mouth. It is better that way because we know our neighbors. Living and working in the same area means you have to do things right or everyone hears about it. We just stick to what we know and try to get home on time most evenings. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We like the neighborhood.
