S A N Enterprises

We are tucked away at 45/7, Yousuf Lebbai Street. If you know Triplicane, you know how these streets are. They are narrow and always full of people. S A N Enterprises has been in this little space for a long time. It’s not a huge office, just a couple of rooms filled with stuff. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just small supplies and bits of hardware. My brother and I manage the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out lists. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. It’s always one thing after another. The humidity in Chennai can be tough, especially in this part of town where the air doesn't move much. We have a small fan that rattles all day. We know all the shopkeepers on this street. We share tea in the afternoons when things quiet down a bit. Sometimes the deliveries get stuck because a cart is blocking the road. You just have to be patient. We aren't some big corporate office with suits and ties. We wear simple shirts and just get on with it. Customers know they can find us here from morning until late evening. We don't have a big philosophy or anything. We just sell our goods and try to be helpful. That’s enough for us to keep going.
