You can find us at New No 276 on Linghi Chetty Street in the Parrys area. This is a very busy part of town, especially with all the trading going on every single day. Ryk Freight Forwarders has been operating out of this spot for a while now. The street is always full of trucks and people moving goods back and forth. Our office is a bit of a retreat from the chaos outside, though it stays busy in here too. We do a lot of freight forwarding, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone and checking customs documents. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it’s important for local businesses. The office is packed with files and computer screens. We don't have a lot of space for anything else. We’re a small group and we’ve been working together for a long time. We know the ins and outs of the port and how to get things moving. We don't use any fancy jargon or corporate speak. We just tell you how it is and what needs to be done. Sometimes things get delayed at the docks, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just part of the daily routine for us.
