R.S. Logistics

R.S. Logistics is over on Thambu Chetty Street. Our address can be a bit confusing because it’s Old No. 80 but New No. 161. We are located in the Al-Amin Arcade. It’s one of those buildings where everyone knows everyone else. Working in logistics means we deal with a lot of moving parts. There are always trucks to track and schedules to manage. It isn't always smooth sailing. Sometimes things get delayed or plans change at the last minute. We just deal with those things as they come up. The office is usually a bit of a mess with papers and logbooks. We don't have a lot of time for tidying up when things are busy. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. We might be on the phone one minute and checking a crate the next. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, so we’ve seen the street change quite a bit. Thambu Chetty Street is a hub of activity, which is good for us. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just move things from one place to another. It’s practical work for practical people. If someone walks into Al-Amin Arcade looking for us, they’ll find us busy at work. We don't have any interest in being a big polished corporation. This is just a place where we work hard and try to get home on time.
