Our office is located at 22 Second Line Beach in the Parrys area. We are up on the first floor. Royal Horse India Trading Pvt. Ltd. is a place where we handle a lot of buying and selling. Trading is all about the details and the timing. We spend most of our time looking at market prices and talking to suppliers. Parrys is an incredibly busy part of town, always full of people and commerce, which suits us just fine. The office is a bit old-fashioned. We have stacks of ledgers and the sound of the ceiling fans is always in the background. We aren't trying to be some high-speed modern firm; we prefer a more traditional way of doing things. We build relationships with people and keep our word on deals. It’s a lot of negotiation and checking quality of goods. Sometimes we are dealing with textiles, other times it’s hardware or food items. It really depends on what’s moving in the market. We don't have a shiny website or a big PR team. It's just us, working the phones and making sure the orders are filled correctly. Being near the beach means there’s a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice in the heat. We’ve been part of the Parrys trading community for a long time and we like the rhythm of it. It’s a steady job with its own set of challenges.
