Rich Cafe

We’ve been here at Rich Cafe for a while now. Our spot is at 132B, on 9th Street in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. It’s a busy area with a lot of people working nearby, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. We usually open up early because the morning shift around here starts pretty fast. There’s not much to say about us other than we just keep things moving. The kitchen stays busy, and the tables are usually full during the lunch break. Sometimes the machines act up or we run out of something, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s an industrial area, so it gets dusty and loud outside, but inside we just focus on getting orders out. People come in from the factories and offices nearby, mostly just looking for a quick bite or a drink before heading back to work. We aren't fancy. The chairs are just regular chairs and the menu is written on a board. If you are walking down 9th Street, you’ll see our sign. We’ve stayed in this same spot in Ambattur for years. Sometimes we think about changing things, but then we just keep going the way we are. It’s just how it is here. Most days are the same, which is fine by us. We know most of the delivery guys and the folks from the neighboring units. It’s just a regular place where people can sit for a minute.
