Rcdass Engineering

Working out of Ambattur Industrial Estate is interesting because there's always something happening on 3rd Main Road. Rcdass Engineering is right here at Sp-70. It’s an industrial area, so it gets loud with all the machines and trucks moving around. We’ve got a shop floor that stays pretty busy most days. You can smell the grease and metal when you walk in. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s how engineering shops usually are. We have a small crew of guys who really know their way around the equipment. Some of us have been here since the start. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot. By noon, the whole estate is buzzing. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on. There isn't a lot of fluff here. We just look at the drawings and get to work on the parts. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. It's practical work. Being on the 3rd Main Road makes it easy for deliveries to find us, though the traffic can be a pain in the afternoon. We’ve got our tools organized, mostly. Sometimes things get misplaced, but we find them eventually. Rcdass Engineering isn't a massive factory, just a solid space where we do our bit. It's a lot of manual work and getting our hands dirty. That's just how we like it. The guys often share their lunch. We have a small corner for water and tea. It's a simple setup. Nothing fancy or polished. Just a regular engineering spot in a busy hub.
