Rayhills City Developers Private Limited has its office on New Tank Road in Nungambakkam. We are at New No. 15, which used to be Old No. 9, on the first floor. Nungambakkam is one of those busy Chennai hubs, and New Tank Road always has people moving back and forth. Our office is a simple one-floor setup that we’ve filled with drafting tables and cabinets full of land records. It’s not a fancy place by any means. The walls are mostly covered with site plans and calendars marked with deadlines. Because we are on the first floor, we get a good view of the street, but it also means we hear all the traffic and the horns. We spend our days coordinating between the guys at the construction sites and the folks who come in to ask about property. There is usually a stack of newspapers on the small table near the door and a few umbrellas leaning against the wall for when the monsoon hits. It’s a working office, through and through. We don't spend money on expensive decor because we’re usually too busy out on the field or sitting here trying to sort out building approvals. It’s just a regular group of us working out of this Nungambakkam spot, making sure the projects we started actually get finished without too many hiccups and delays. Getting things organized takes most of our time between the site visits and the office hours.
