We’re located at No 46 on 6th Street in the Rajamangalam part of Villivakkam. It’s a busy area of Chennai, and our hospital sits right in the middle of it. We’ve got the medical side where we see patients every day, and then we also have some space dedicated to research and the science side of things. It’s a lot to balance, but we’ve been doing it for a while now. The building is a typical Chennai structure, maybe a bit cramped when it’s raining and everyone crowds into the lobby to stay dry. We see all sorts of people from the local neighborhood. Some are just here for a quick test, while others might stay for a few days. The street outside can get pretty loud with bikes and cars, but we’re used to it. Our staff is a mix of young and old, and we all just try to get the work done. The research part involves a lot of reading and looking at data, which happens in the quieter rooms in the back of the building. It’s not a fancy hospital with glass walls; it’s more about the practical side of medicine. We have enough beds for the people who need them and a pharmacy that stays fairly busy throughout the day. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the waiting room, but people are usually patient. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, right here in Villivakkam.
