Ranka Metal Corporation is located right here in Park Town at 6/2, Raghunayakulu Street. It’s a busy spot but we’ve been around long enough to know the neighborhood well. Mostly we deal with all sorts of metal stuff every single day. The shop isn't fancy or anything. It's just a place where we get work done and talk to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes things get a bit crowded with all the stock around but that's how it is when you’re handling heavy materials. People come by when they need something specific for their projects. We spend a lot of time organizing things and making sure we have what people are looking for. It’s hard work, keeping track of everything in this heat, but we stay busy. You’ll usually find us moving things around or checking orders. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just know we're here on the street. It is a noisy area but that is just part of the job. If you’re around Park Town, you’ve probably seen the sign. We try to keep things simple. No big speeches or complicated processes. We just focus on the metals and getting them to the people who need them. It's a straightforward way to run things. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years but the shop stays pretty much the same. It's just what we do day in and day out. We don't spend money on fancy uniforms or shiny signs. Most of our tools have been with us for a long time. We just want to get through the day's work and be ready for tomorrow.
