Nathan Mineral Water Dealers

Nathan Mineral Water Dealers is basically what the name says. We are located in Tamil Nagar, right near the Ramapuram Telephone Exchange. If you know that area, you know it gets busy. We spend most of our time moving cans and bottles around. It’s heavy work and it keeps us on our feet all day long. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place to store the stock and handle the orders. We’ve got a couple of guys who handle the loading. We see a lot of the same faces every week coming in. Sometimes the delivery truck is a bit late because of the traffic near the exchange, but we try to keep things moving. It's a simple business. People need water, and we have it ready for them. We don’t do big fancy advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the job for us. The floor is usually a bit wet from the cleaning, and it smells like fresh plastic and rain inside. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. It's practical work. No one wears a suit here. We wear boots and clothes that we don't mind getting a bit dirty or wet. That's just how the water business goes in this part of town. We just focus on getting the cans out the door. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook during the summer months when everyone is thirsty. It gets a bit chaotic then. We have to keep a close eye on the inventory so we don't run out.
