Rishikash Filters Company

Rishikash Filters Company is at No. 23 Radha Nagar Main Road in Chromepet. Being on the main road means there is never a quiet moment. The sound of horns and engines is constant. Our shop is filled with filters of all shapes and sizes stacked up to the ceiling. It can be hard to find things sometimes, but we usually know which pile to look in. We don't use any fancy computer systems to track our stock. We just remember where we put things or check our handwritten lists. The counter is old and the wood is worn down from years of use. We have a small stool behind it where one of us sits when there are no customers. Chromepet is a crowded part of the city, so we get a lot of people stopping by just to ask for directions or look around. We don't mind it much. We have a small water filter in the back for ourselves and we share it if someone is thirsty. The lighting in the shop is a bit dim, but it’s cool inside compared to the heat on the street. We close the shutters at the end of the day and head home through the traffic. It’s a simple business and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. We don't have a big mission, we just sell filters and talk to the people who come in. That is basically our whole day here on Radha Nagar Main Road.
