Ram Electro Gratings

Ram Electro Gratings is based at No : 14A, in the 3rd Phase of the Industrial Estate in Guindy. If you know Guindy, you know it is a hub for all sorts of manufacturing. Our place is tucked away in the industrial rows. It is not the kind of place you visit for a scenic tour. It is all about gratings here. The machinery is loud and it runs for most of the day. The air smells like hot metal and oil. We have got a small crew of people who have been doing this for years. We aren't much for talking; we just focus on the specs and the metal sheets. The 3rd Phase can get pretty congested with lorries and workers on bikes during the shift changes. We usually have our heads down working. There is a lot of heavy stuff to move around, so we use the overhead cranes a lot. The floor is marked with yellow lines that have mostly faded away over time. It is an honest, gritty environment. We do not have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you will see us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of grime. That is just how life in the Guindy Industrial Estate goes. We take the raw materials and we make the gratings. It is a straightforward process without any unnecessary fluff. We just keep the machines going and finish the orders.
