Rainbow Metals (India)

Working at 206 Linghi Chetty Street means dealing with the constant buzz of Parrys every single day. Rainbow Metals (India) has been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know how narrow it gets and how many people are always rushing past. Our building is one of those old ones that has seen a lot of years go by. Inside, it’s mostly just stacks of metal and heavy shelves that have been there since I can remember. It smells like iron and old paper in here. We spend our time answering the phones and keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. It’s a bit cramped, honestly, and the fans never seem to move the air quite enough when it’s humid outside. We don't really do much in the way of decoration. There are some old calendars on the walls and plenty of tea stains on the wooden desks. Usually, there’s a delivery truck parked awkwardly outside blocking the way, which is just how things go in this part of town. We know most of the other shop owners on the block, so there’s always someone dropping by to chat for a minute. We just focus on the metal trade and try to keep our records straight. It’s a loud, busy place to work, but it’s home for us during the day.
