RADS INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATE LIMITED

RADS Infrastructure Private Limited is based out of a flat in Velachery. We are on the first floor of Jaysan Home, which is tucked into the 3rd Cross Street in Jaganathapuram. Chennai is a big, crowded city and Velachery is one of those places that never seems to sleep. Working in infrastructure means we are often thinking about how the city functions. We handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into making sure things stay together. The office is not very big, so we have to stay organized. It is a residential area, so it feels a bit more quiet than the main roads, which is nice when we are trying to concentrate on technical plans. There are usually three or four of us around the main table. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the current projects. Sometimes the rains in Chennai make our work difficult, especially with the flooding that Velachery is known for. We have to plan around the seasons. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of paperwork and dealing with different people to get permits and materials moved around. We just try to stay on top of the list of things to do. Every project has its own set of problems that need solving. We are just local folks trying to keep the business moving and making sure our work holds up over time. It is steady work that keeps us grounded.
