Radan Engineering & Consultants is located at 4/9 on Third Street in Shanti Nagar. It is a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads around this part of Chennai. Our office is a modest building where we handle all our planning and various paperwork. We do not have a big, flashy sign outside or a fancy entrance. It is just a place where we can sit down and focus on the projects we have going on. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels a little more peaceful than being in the middle of a commercial hub. We have a few desks and some tall cabinets that are filled with old files and drawings. Most of us have been working here for quite a while, so there is a lot of history in this office. We are not interested in looking corporate or overly polished. We just tell people where we are and what we do when they ask. Third Street is easy to find once you are in Shanti Nagar. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at technical plans on our desks. It is a very hands-on environment. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog makes a lot of noise, but we are used to it. It is just part of working in a real neighborhood. We appreciate having a steady place to work from. It is not about being fancy for us.
