R L V Metal Store is a simple shop at 93, East Ramalingam Road. We deal with various kinds of metal, so the place is usually full of pipes, sheets, and rods leaning against the walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when you walk in. We don’t have any fancy displays or air conditioning. It’s just a store on a busy road. East Ramalingam Road always has something going on, with people moving back and forth all day. We spend a lot of time weighing things out or cutting pieces to size for people who drop by. Our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning, but that’s just how it is when you work with metal. We have an old desk in the corner where we keep our ledger and the phone. It’s not a high-tech operation. We know most of the other shopkeepers on the street and sometimes we stand outside to have a chat when it’s slow. We’ve been at number 93 for a long time now. The sign out front is a bit faded, but people know where we are. We don't do any promotional stuff; we just rely on people knowing they can find what they need here. It's a bit loud and dusty, but it's our place and we've gotten used to the clutter over the years. We just try to keep things moving and help out the locals who need metal supplies.
