Down in Jeswant Nagar, at number 97, you’ll find our little setup. We’re in Mogappair West, which has become quite a hub lately. We work as civil engineers and contractors, though mostly it feels like we’re just problem solvers. Every site has its own set of issues, whether it’s the soil or the narrow roads for getting materials in. We’ve been at this for a while, and between R K and S O, we’ve seen just about everything that can go wrong on a job site. We try to keep things moving as best we can without making a fuss. The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and measuring tapes scattered around. We don’t spend much on advertising because word of mouth in Mogappair is usually enough to keep the phone ringing. We handle small residential stuff and some bigger commercial shells when they come up. It’s hard work, and the sun can be brutal out there, but it’s what we know. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just build things and fix things. Sometimes a client wants something that isn't practical, and we have to tell them straight. We’d rather be honest than take on a job that won’t last. That’s just how we were taught to work. If you come by the office, the tea is usually hot and the talk is mostly about cement prices and the next delivery.
